For the next seven days, the PA Class of 2013 will be celebrating National PA Week in commemoration of the first class of physician assistants who graduated from Duke University on October 6, 1967.
Please join the PA Walk this Saturday, October 7 at 9 a.m. beginning in Marion Square in downtown Charleston!
PA Class of 2013 president Colin Johnson and philanthropy chair Amy Smith spoke with attendees of the MUSC Activities Fair on September 7, 2011.
In Forbes Magazine’s annual ranking of the best and worst master’s degrees for today’s job market, physician assistant graduate programs top the list. According to the magazine, “…although there are too few doctors in the U.S. and too few seats in medical schools, those shortages are good for one segment of the population: people who get degrees as physician assistants.”
Help support the health professions scholarship for the students of St. John’s High School by purchasing one of the stylish Mr. MUSC tees complete with custom “King of Hearts” graphic. For a scant $7 you can instantly upgrade your wardrobe and support a great cause. Please buy as many as you like (I suggest one for each day of the week!)
Reserve your order by emailing MUSCPA1@gmail.com by including the NUMBER you would like and the SIZES (up to XL)
Then, make your checks out ($7 per shirt) to MUSC PA class …
