The 1st annual Mr. CHP pageant was held on April 15th, 2010 at MUSC’s Baruch auditorium. Presented by the MUSC PA Class of 2011, this outstanding event was the culmination of our philanthropy project for the Charleston community, benefiting a selected group on John’s Island, SC.

The Junior Doctors of Health program goes to under served elementary schools in the area. We meet with the students three different times throughout the semester and teach them about eating healthy, the importance of exercise, and how to make good choices that lead to a healthy lifestyle. Everyone had a great time getting to meet the students and teaching them about the importance of eating healthy. All of us are excited about going back to teach the students about the exercise.

October 6th-12th is National PA Week and this year’s theme is “PAs for a Healthy America!” Our PA program has organized multiple activities to promote, support, and celebrate the physician assistant profession during this week! These are some of the things that were accomplished:
PA Free Breakfast
